Tooth bonding can also be used for teeth fillings instead of amalgam fillings. Many patients prefer bonded fillings because the white color is much less noticeable than the silver amalgam fillings. Bonding fillings can be used on front and back teeth depending on the location and extent of tooth decay.

Bonding is less expensive than other cosmetic treatments and usually can be completed in one visit to our office. However, bonding can stain and is easier to break than other cosmetic treatments such as porcelain veneers. If it does break or chip, tell your doctor. The bonding generally can be easily patched or repaired in one visit.

I have had nothing but great experiences at Loudoun Valley Dental. Cindy at the front desk has always been so extremely responsive to me and squeezed me in on more than one occasion when I really needed to see the doctor and both dentists are great. It is a perfect example of a small town medical office where the patient is never just a number.

My second visit was to get a crown on a tooth with a slight crack. This visit was also great despite it being for something more involved than just a cleaning. Everyone in the office was helpful and friendly which includes the front office, the couple dental techs I've seen so far, and both dentists.
